About MyHomeSale
MyHomeSale.net exists because selling a home is one of the largest financial events in most people's lives — and most of the information written about it is published by someone who wants to be part of the transaction. Brokerages want your listing. iBuyers want your house. Lead sites want your phone number to sell to agents.
We wanted a different kind of resource: a well-organized library that explains the whole selling journey in plain language, compares your options fairly, and doesn't care which one you choose.
What we are
An independent knowledge base: guides, checklists, a glossary, an FAQ, and a free net-proceeds estimator covering everything from "should we even sell?" through closing day and taxes. Content is written to our editorial standards, kept current, and cross-linked so you can follow a question wherever it leads.
What we are not
We are not a real-estate broker or agent, a lender, an iBuyer, or a financial, legal, or tax adviser. We don't list homes, buy homes, make offers, or refer you to anyone who does. Nothing on this site is advice — it's educational information to help you ask better questions and make your own decisions. Where professional judgment matters (law, taxes, pricing your specific home), we say so and point you toward the right kind of professional.
How the site is funded
The site may display advertising or use affiliate links, disclosed in our disclaimer. Compensation never shapes editorial conclusions, and we do not sell reader data — see the privacy policy for the specifics, including our commitment never to sell or share SMS opt-in information.
